Job summary

Aegon UK Corporate Services Ltd in Farnborough is seeking a Customer Consultant for a permanent, full-time role. The hybrid model requires office presence at least 40% of the time. The starting salary is £24,479, with a closing date of 28 October 2026.

You will deliver first-class service via inbound/outbound calls promoting services and products. Candidates will have PC skills, customer service experience, risk awareness and customer empathy.

Qualifications

• Must have PC skills to navigate multiple systems while assisting customers.
• Experience in customer service (call centre, helpdesk or similar).
• Awareness of risks in the Financial Services industry.
• Ability to put yourself in a customer’s shoes and work flexibly to meet expectations.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for all inbound customer enquiries relating to Aegon Financial Planning services and products.
• Resolve customer complaints where possible using approved procedures.
• Identify customer needs beyond the core enquiry by promoting suitable products and services.
• Support the department on projects as needed.

As a Customer Consultant you will provide a first‑class service to our customers through inbound and outbound telephony calling offering and promoting services and products.

Key responsibilities:

• Be the first point of contact for all inbound customer enquiries relating to Aegon Financial Planning services and products.
• Seek to resolve customer complaints where possible using agreed and appropriate processes and procedures.
• Identify Customers’ needs outside of the core enquiry by promoting further and appropriate products and services.
• Stepping outside of role to support department on projects.

We’d love to hear from you if:

• You have PC skills to navigate multiple systems efficiently whilst speaking to our members.
• You have an awareness of risks associated with in the Financial Services Industry.
• You’ve got experience in customer service (contact centre, face‑to‑face, helpdesk – that kind of thing)
• You can put yourself in a customer’s shoes, taking ownership and working flexibly to meet their expectations.
