Job summary

John Lewis Partnership in Glasgow is seeking a Supermarket Assistant to deliver Partner-led service and share our passion for food. You’ll help customers on every visit and keep Waitrose standards high.

You’ll replenish stock, fulfil online orders for delivery, and reduce waste through product due diligence. You’ll work with the shop team across roles, maintain a safe and tidy environment, and support flexible hours across seven days.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role is welcomed.
• Flexible to work varied hours, including early starts, evenings and weekends.
• An interest in food and drink trends is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment ensuring shelves are full and in the right place.
• Fulfil online orders for driver delivery.
• Reduce waste by following due diligence and markdowns.
• Support the wider shop team including checkout and Click & Collect.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment.
