Job summary

Buzz Bingo is seeking a Customer Assistant to deliver exceptional service across the Club, including front of house, book sales, treasury, machines, bar and kitchen. The role supports a safe gambling environment and a fully flexible 30-hour contract across seven days, including evenings and weekends.

Experience in face-to-face customer service in hospitality, retail or leisure is preferred. Cash handling and numeracy skills are essential, plus strong communication and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering first class, personalised customer service in a face-to-face role.
• Ability to handle cash and basic numeracy knowledge.
• Comfortable working across multiple areas of the Club (front of house, sales, treasury, machines, bar and kitchen).

Responsibilities

• Build rapport and relationships with Customers.
• Be flexible on tasks across all areas of the Club including housekeeping.
• Support with other duties as requested by the line manager.
• Create a Safer Gambling Environment for Customers and Colleagues across all channels (online, in club and live).
• Keep cash handling and safety procedures accurate and compliant.

Job description

As a Customer Assistant you go above and beyond to provide exceptional service to our Customers. You will do the right thing always by looking after our Customers as caring for people is in our DNA.,

• Build rapport and relationships with Customers
• Be flexible on tasks across all areas of the Club from front of house, book sales, treasury, machines, the bar area and kitchen including, general housekeeping throughout the Club, checking the toilets and ensuring presentation is always to a high standard
• Support with other duties as requested by the line manager
• Ensuring you create a Safer Gambling Environment for all our Customers and Colleagues across all of our channels; online, in club and live
  in our Wigan Club offering a 30 hour contract which is fully flexible over 7 days, including evenings and weekends. Experience in delivering first class, personalised customer service in a face-to-face role, preferably in a hospitality, retail or leisure environment
• Cash office experience required
• Outstanding communication skills that can be adapted to different situations when necessary
• Experience of handling cash and basic numeracy knowledge
• You are confident at challenging the way things are done and can make sure all Customers follow our company policies and standards
