Job summary

Sainsbury's Limited is hiring for a night-shift role at our Didcot store. The position involves overnight work, stocking shelves, and moving stock from the warehouse to the shop floor, with customer service duties once trained. You’ll need energy, reliability and a team-first attitude to keep aisles tidy and products well-presented.

The role offers 37 hours per week at £13.23 per hour on a fixed-term assignment ending 2 January 2027, with flexible working arrangements where possible.

Responsibilities

• Getting the store ready for the day ahead by filling shelves, working at a good steady pace throughout the night and being prepared to work with a variety of product types
• Keeping your workspace tidy for other colleagues and making sure our aisles are clean, presentable and ready for our customers the next day
• Collecting and moving stock safely from the warehouse to the shopfloor, including heavy equipment and containers
• Working across different parts of the store, which could include chilled and frozen areas
• Using equipment, handsets and digital systems to complete your work accurately and safely
• Helping in other areas when needed, which could include picking online orders or serving customers at checkouts once you're trained and confident
