Sainsbury's Limited in Exeter (EX1 3PF) is hiring for a part-time Fixed-Term Assignment. You will help prepare the store overnight, stock shelves, move stock from warehouse to shopfloor and support various store areas, including checkouts when trained.

The role requires night work, physical stamina and a flexible approach to shifts during the festive period. Right to work in the UK and being 18+ are essential prerequisites.

Responsibilities

• Prepare store for the day by stocking shelves and working at a steady night pace.
• Keep workspace tidy and ensure aisles are presentable for customers.
• Move stock from warehouse to shopfloor, including heavy items.
• Work across store areas, including chilled or frozen sections.
• Use equipment, handsets and digital systems accurately and safely.
• Assist in other areas or at checkouts once trained.

• Wednesday: 22:00 - 06:00
• Thursday: 20:00 - 08:00

• Saturday: 20:00 - 08:00

What you'll be doing

• Getting the store ready for the day ahead by filling shelves, working at a good steady pace throughout the night and being prepared to work with a variety of product types
• Keeping your workspace tidy for other colleagues and making sure our aisles are clean, presentable and ready for our customers the next day
• Collecting and moving stock safely from the warehouse to the shopfloor, including heavy equipment and containers
• Working across different parts of the store, which could include chilled and frozen areas
• Using equipment, handsets and digital systems to complete your work accurately and safely
• Helping in other areas when needed, which could include picking online orders or serving customers at checkouts once you're trained and confident
