Sainsbury's Christchurch store is recruiting for a part-time night-oriented position. You’ll help prepare the store, stock shelves, and support customers during the night shifts across various store areas. Training will enable checkout duties when appropriate.

The role offers a permanent contract in a busy festive-season environment, with night shift allowances where applicable and a competitive benefits package. Right to work in the UK is required.

Responsabilités

• Getting the store ready for the day by stocking shelves and working at a steady pace during the night.
• Keeping workspace tidy and aisles presentable for customers the next day.
• Collecting and moving stock safely from warehouse to shopfloor, including heavy equipment.
• Working across different parts of the store, including chilled and frozen areas.
• Using equipment, handsets and digital systems to complete tasks accurately and safely.
• Assisting in other areas when needed, such as picking online orders or serving at checkouts once trained.

What you’ll be doing

• Getting the store ready for the day ahead by filling shelves, working at a good steady pace throughout the night and being prepared to work with a variety of product types
• Keeping your workspace tidy for other colleagues and making sure our aisles are clean, presentable and ready for our customers the next day
• Collecting and moving stock safely from the warehouse to the shopfloor, including heavy equipment and containers
• Working across different parts of the store, which could include chilled and frozen areas
• Using equipment, handsets and digital systems to complete your work accurately and safely
• Helping in other areas when needed, which could include picking online orders or serving customers at checkouts once you’re trained and confident
