Sainsbury's Hampden Park Store in Eastbourne is seeking part-time staff for a fixed-term assignment. You will help prepare the store overnight, restock shelves, and move stock from warehouse to shopfloor, including heavy items. Shifts include night hours and flexibility across store areas with training for checkout duties.

The role requires 18+ eligibility to work in the UK and a willingness to work night hours. Ends January 2, 2027, with competitive benefits and part-time hours of 18.5 per week.

Responsibilities

• Getting the store ready for the day by filling shelves and maintaining a steady night-time pace.
• Keep workspace tidy and aisles clean and presentable for customers the next day.
• Collecting and moving stock from warehouse to shopfloor, including heavy items.
• Work across different store areas, including chilled and frozen sections.
• Use equipment, handsets and digital systems to complete work accurately and safely.
• Assist in other areas, such as picking online orders or serving at checkouts when trained.

What you’ll be doing

• Getting the store ready for the day ahead by filling shelves, working at a good steady pace throughout the night and being prepared to work with a variety of product types
• Keeping your workspace tidy for other colleagues and making sure our aisles are clean, presentable and ready for our customers the next day
• Collecting and moving stock safely from the warehouse to the shopfloor, including heavy equipment and containers
• Working across different parts of the store, which could include chilled and frozen areas
• Using equipment, handsets and digital systems to complete your work accurately and safely
• Helping in other areas when needed, which could include picking online orders or serving customers at checkouts once you’re trained and confident
