Job summary

Lidl is hiring a Customer Assistant in the United Kingdom. You will interact with customers, help keep the store clean and well presented, and support on tills and shelves to ensure a great shopping experience.

We offer flexible contracts (10, 20, 30 or 35 hours) with a starting rate of £13.30 per hour, rising to £14.80 after 3 years, plus company pension and generous staff discounts. Weekend work is optional and progression opportunities exist.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ to work in our store selling alcohol.
• Excellent customer service and a can-do attitude.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers in a pleasant, friendly and helpful manner.
• Ensure stock loss controls are followed in all areas of the store.
• Maintain store and external cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Follow freshness and rotation principles.
