Job summary

Bada Bingo in Bristol is hiring a Customer Assistant to deliver high-quality service at Fishponds Club on a 20-hour contract, including evenings and weekends. You will build rapport with customers, handle daily tasks across front of house, sales, and bar areas, and support the team in maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for all guests.

The role requires personable, reliable individuals with good numeracy and communication skills, able to adapt quickly and work flexibly as part of a vibrant

Qualifications

• Experience delivering first class customer service in a hospitality, retail or leisure setting.
• Strong communication skills adaptable to different situations.
• Ability to handle cash and basic numeracy confidently.

Responsibilities

• Build rapport with customers and provide friendly service.
• Assist across club areas including front of house, sales and kitchen tasks.
• Support line manager with duties and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Ensure a safe gambling environment for customers and colleagues.

Your Responsibilities as Part of Our Team

• Build rapport and relationships with Customers
• Be flexible on tasks across all areas of the Club from front of house, book sales, treasury, machines, the bar area and kitchen including, general housekeeping throughout the Club, checking the toilets and ensuring presentation is always to a high standard
• Support with other duties as requested by the line manager
• Ensuring you create a Safer Gambling Environment for all our Customers and Colleagues across all of our channels; online, in club and live

The Winning Combination We’re Looking For

• Experience in delivering first class, personalised customer service in a face-to-face role, preferably in a hospitality, retail or leisure environment
• Outstanding communication skills that can be adapted to different situations when necessary
• Experience of handling cash and basic numeracy knowledge
• You are confident at challenging the way things are done and can make sure all Customers follow our company policies and standards
