Job summary

BUZZ Bingo is looking for a Customer Assistant at our Bristol Fishponds Club on a 20-hour contract, including evenings and weekends. You will greet customers, assist with bookings and sales, and help create a welcoming, responsible club environment.

You should have experience delivering friendly, hands-on service with good communication and basic cash handling. We value adaptability, teamwork, and a positive attitude in a busy hospitality setting.

• Experience delivering first-class, personalised customer service.
• Strong communication skills to adapt to situations.
• Experience handling cash and basic numeracy.
• Ability to follow company policies and standards.

Responsibilities

• Build rapport and relationships with Customers.
• Be flexible across all areas of the Club from front of house to bar and kitchen, including housekeeping.
• Support with other duties as requested by the line manager.
• Create a safer gambling environment for customers and colleagues across all channels.

The Role You ll Play

As a Customer Assistant you go above and beyond to provide exceptional service to our Customers. You will do the right thing always by looking after our Customers as caring for people is in our DNA.

Your Responsibilities as Part of Our Team

• Build rapport and relationships with Customers
• Be flexible on tasks across all areas of the Club from front of house, book sales, treasury, machines, the bar area and kitchen including, general housekeeping throughout the Club, checking the toilets and ensuring presentation is always to a high standard
• Support with other duties as requested by the line manager
• Ensuring you create a Safer Gambling Environment for all our Customers and Colleagues across all of our channels; online, in club and live

The Winning Combination We re Looking For

• Experience in delivering first class, personalised customer service in a face-to-face role, preferably in a hospitality, retail or leisure environment
• Outstanding communication skills that can be adapted to different situations when necessary
• Experience of handling cash and basic numeracy knowledge
• You are confident at challenging the way things are done and can make sure all Customers follow our company policies and standards
