Customer Team Member
Location: Meadow Vale, Outwood, Wakefield, WF1 3TR
Pay: £12.60 per hour
Contract: 12 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent, part time
Working pattern: varied shifts including early mornings (store opening), afternoons, late evenings (store closing) and weekends, to be discussed at interview

We're looking for Customer Team Members to join our team at Co-op. As a Customer Team Member, you'll be part of a friendly team that's dedicated to helping our customers. We'll look to you to provide them with great service on the tills and the shop floor, while also performing a wide range of other tasks around the store like re-stocking shelves and cleaning up spillages.

What you'll do
  • Friendly and thoughtful service - you'll put customers first in everything you do: responding to queries, championing Co-op products and Membership, and doing all you can to deliver a great shopping experience
  • Work together to make everyone's day better - supporting your store colleagues to solve problems for customers and members
  • Make sure the store safe and legal - keep the shelves stocked and make sure prices, dates, and temperatures are all as they should be
  • Help introduce new products and services - make changes feel natural, sharing experiences with your colleagues so everyone learns together
  • Support your local community - get involved in all kinds of activities and events!

This job would suit people who have a genuine care for the needs of customers and members, great people skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues, a positive approach to change and problem solving, and the flexibility to work a range of different shifts.
