Job summary

Sainsbury's Limited is recruiting for a part-time team member at our Canvey Island store. You’ll play a key role in serving customers, stocking shelves, and keeping displays well-presented. Shifts include weekend and weekday hours, with planning shared three weeks in advance.

You will use digital tools to assist customers and ensure a smooth shopping experience. Right to Work in the UK is required, and the contract runs until 26 December 2026.

Qualifications

• You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

What you’ll be doing

• Putting customers first and making them feel valued through thoughtful, friendly and helpful service
• Ready to help wherever our customers need you most, whether that’s filling shelves, picking orders, serving customers or selling our products
• Using and embracing digital tools to do your job well and enhance customer experience
• Helping organise and move stock, including keeping shelves tidy, clean and well-presented, and manoeuvring often heavy loads to the correct store location
• Building your knowledge of our products, services and promotions so you can confidently make helpful recommendations to our customers
