Job summary

Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd is seeking a part-time Customer Advisor at the Bretton Store in Peterborough. You will assist customers on tills, help with online orders and collection, and provide product recommendations in a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities include handling payments, guiding customers on financial services, and maintaining a tidy stock area, with opportunities to learn and develop across the shop floor.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service on tills, website screens, shopfloor, and collection counter.
• Collect products from stock area, handle payments, advise on financial services, and process refunds.
• Keep stock room neat and restock deliveries when needed.
• Be present on the shop floor to assist customers with questions and recommendations.

What you’ll be doing:

• Ensure our customers have a great shopping experience by delivering excellent customer service on the tills, website screens on the shopfloor and at the collection counter
• Collect products from the stock area for customers, take payments, provide details on our financial service offerings for certain products and process refunds
• Make sure that the stock room is neat and tidy, and restocking products from deliveries
• Be present on the shop floor helping customers with questions and provide advice on a wide range of products
• Build great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations
