Job summary

Argos in Barnstaple is hiring a Customer Advisor on a fixed-term assignment. You will support customers with checkouts, online order pickups, and in-store assistance, ensuring a smooth shopping experience and helpful product recommendations.

The role is part-time (12 hours per week) with flexible shifts across weekdays and weekends. Right to Work in the UK is required, and you’ll be trained for a variety of store duties.

Responsibilities

• Ensure our customers have a great shopping experience by delivering excellent customer service on the tills, website screens on the shopfloor and at the collection counter
• Collect products from the stock area for customers, take payments, provide details on our financial service offerings for certain products and process refunds
• Make sure that the stock room is neat and tidy, and restocking products from deliveries
• Be present on the shop floor helping customers with questions and provide advice on a wide range of products
• Build great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations
