Job summary

Argos Retail is seeking a Customer Advisor in Northallerton. This part-time role (12 hours per week) offers a fixed-term assignment with shifts including early and late options. You’ll help customers at tills and collection points, handle payments, and assist on the shop floor with product guidance.

Applicants must have UK right to work, and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling across weekdays and weekends.

• Most roles are part-time working across a variety of shifts, including weekdays and weekends. Your hours will be scheduled to fit around your availability and may vary from week to week.

What you’ll be doing:

• Ensure our customers have a great shopping experience by delivering excellent customer service on the tills, website screens on the shopfloor and at the collection counter
• Collect products from the stock area for customers, take payments, provide details on our financial service offerings for certain products and process refunds
• Be present on the shop floor helping customers with questions and provide advice on a wide range of products – supporting in the stock room when the store is quiet
• Build great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations
