Job summary

Argos in Bathgate is seeking a friendly Colleague to deliver excellent customer service across tills, website screens, collection counters, and stock areas. You’ll help customers with questions, process payments, refunds, and share information on our services while keeping the store welcoming and well organised.

You’ll build strong product knowledge, work as part of a fast-paced team, and be flexible to cover shifts across weekdays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be above school-leaver age and have Right to Work in the UK.
• Most roles are part-time across a variety of shifts, including weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service at tills, on website screens, shopfloor and collection counter.
• Collect products from stock area, take payments, explain optional financial services, and process refunds.
• Assist customers on the shop floor, answer questions, and assist in the stock room when quiet.
• Build great knowledge of products, services and promotions to provide recommendations.

Job description

What you’ll be doing:

• Ensure our customers have a great shopping experience by delivering excellent customer service on the tills, website screens on the shopfloor and at the collection counter
• Collect products from the stock area for customers, take payments, provide details on our financial service offerings for certain products and process refunds
• Be present on the shop floor helping customers with questions and provide advice on a wide range of products – supporting in the stock room when the store is quiet
• Build great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations

• Most roles are part-time working across a variety of shifts,including weekdays and weekends. Your hours will be scheduled to fit around your availability and may vary from week to week.
