Job summary

B&Q Limited is seeking a Customer Advisor to join our team at the Wrexham store on a part-time basis. You will be an expert advisor, helping customers with home improvement needs, managing stock, and ensuring displays look inviting. Sales skills are important, with a strong emphasis on service quality.

You will be trained in paint-mixing and cutting timber, and will work a rota that includes weekends, evenings, and bank holidays to support customers across shifts.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused service experience.
• Friendly and outgoing with good communication.
• Able to work on a rota including weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Sell products and advise customers to support home projects.
• Manage stock, set up displays, and keep the store tidy and attractive.

UK Notional hourly rate £13.10 per hour

What's the job?

Join our team, and you’ll become an expert advisor. An inspiration as well as a guide. The person who gets to know every customer and their home improvement projects. Sales will be important, of course, as will things like managing stock, setting up displays, and making sure your store looks great. You’ll have the opportunity to be trained in paint-mixing and cutting timber, but truly great customer service will be your main aim.

What we need:

Happy to help, eager to learn and just a little bit obsessed with home improvement, you’ll be right at home with us. You’re friendly and outgoing, and you get a buzz from helping others. You’ll be happy to expand your skills by using new technology and learning new ways of working. You’re great at working in a team too, and flexible enough to work on a rota that includes weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
