Job summary

B&Q Braintree is seeking a Customer Advisor Decor to join our team on a part-time basis (15 hours per week) with weekend shifts. The role focuses on helping customers with home improvement projects, selling and stock tasks, and setting up displays to keep the store looking great.

Training in paint-mixing and timber cutting is available, but excellent customer service is the main aim. You will work as part of a team, be flexible for a rota that includes Saturdays, Sundays, evenings and bank

• You’re friendly and outgoing, and you get a buzz from helping others.

UK Notional hourly rate £13.37 per hour (Inclusive of an £0.27 per hour, store specific location allowance)

What's the job?

Join our team, and you’ll become an expert advisor. An inspiration as well as a guide. The person who gets to know every customer and their home improvement projects. Sales will be important, of course, as will things like managing stock, setting up displays, and making sure your store looks great. You’ll have the opportunity to be trained in paint-mixing and cutting timber, but truly great customer service will be your main aim.
