Job summary

B&Q Leven is seeking a Customer Advisor for part-time hours at our Leven store. You will assist customers, drive sales, manage stock and displays, and help maintain a welcoming store appearance.

You’ll have opportunities to learn new skills, including potential training in paint-mixing and timber cutting, while working as part of a friendly, team-oriented team. Flexible shifts, including weekends and bank holidays, are required.

• Friendly and outgoing, and you get a buzz from helping others.
• Happy to expand your skills by using new technology and learning new ways of working.
• Great at working in a team and flexible to a rota including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert advisor and guide customers with home improvement needs.
• Sales will be important; you’ll manage stock, set up displays and keep the store looking great.
• You may receive training in paint-mixing and cutting timber to assist customer projects.

UK Notional hourly rate £13.10 per hour

What's the job?

Join our team, and you’ll become an expert advisor. An inspiration as well as a guide. The person who gets to know every customer and their home improvement projects. Sales will be important, of course, as will things like managing stock, setting up displays, and making sure your store looks great. You’ll have the opportunity to be trained in paint-mixing and cutting timber, but truly great customer service will be your main aim.

What we need:

Happy to help, eager to learn and just a little bit obsessed with home improvement, you’ll be right at home with us. You’re friendly and outgoing, and you get a buzz from helping others. You’ll be happy to expand your skills by using new technology and learning new ways of working. You’re great at working in a team too, and flexible enough to work on a rota that includes weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
