Are you a customer-focused, commercially minded and creative individual looking for a varied role combining account management, sales, business development and marketing?
We’re recruiting on behalf of an established and growing business operating across the touring, live events, entertainment, corporate and commercial sectors, who are looking to appoint a Customer Account & Marketing Executive.
About the Role
This is a varied role where no two days are likely to be the same. You'll act as a key point of contact for customers, supporting enquiries, quotations and account development, while also taking ownership of the company's day-to-day digital marketing activity.
Working closely with the Sales & Marketing team, Operations and Planning, you'll help ensure customers receive an excellent service from initial enquiry through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Customer & Account Management
- Manage day-to-day relationships with assigned customer accounts.
- Respond to customer enquiries and provide a high level of customer service.
- Prepare and follow up quotations.
- Maintain regular communication with customers regarding bookings and service delivery.
- Identify opportunities to develop and grow existing accounts.
- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and industry contacts.
- Maintain accurate CRM and customer records.
Sales & Business Development
- Support lead generation and new business activity.
- Research prospective customers and new market opportunities.
- Carry out proactive outreach via telephone, email, social media and networking.
- Follow up marketing-generated leads and commercial opportunities.
- Introduce the company's services to prospective customers.
- Support customer presentations, proposals and account reviews.
- Work alongside the wider Sales team to identify opportunities for additional services.
Marketing & Social Media
- Take ownership of day-to-day social media activity across LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram.
- Create engaging and professional content aligned with the company's brand.
- Plan and schedule content using the marketing calendar.
- Maintain and update website content.
- Create digital graphics and marketing materials.
- Coordinate photography and video content.
- Support newsletters, email campaigns, case studies and promotional activity.
- Create content showcasing projects, tours, events, customers and company achievements.
- Monitor engagement and digital performance.
- Research industry trends and competitor activity and bring forward new content ideas.
About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive, commercially aware and confident dealing with customers, with a genuine interest in marketing and digital content.
You may currently be working in sales, account management, customer service, marketing, social media, communications or business development.
You’ll ideally have:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Experience creating social media or digital content.
- Confidence using LinkedIn, Facebook and/or Instagram.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
- A creative and proactive approach.
- Good commercial awareness.
- Confidence communicating with customers by telephone, email and face-to-face.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- The ability to work independently while also contributing to a wider team.
- Experience with Canva, CRM systems, website content, email marketing, photography/video or B2B marketing would be advantageous.
