Job summary

Communities and Education in the United Kingdom is recruiting for a hands-on role to create and run a new Custody Hub, focused on supporting female participants within the Custody Support provision of the CFO Evolution team.

The role involves direct engagement with participants in a correctional setting, delivering group work and one-on-one interventions to aid reintegration and pre-release planning, with a focus on sustained engagement and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in probation/social care or criminal justice setting preferred.
• Confident working with diverse backgrounds and circumstances.
• Ability to coach/mentor participants.
• Ability to meet and contribute to performance targets.

Responsibilities

• Meet individual and team performance targets as per contractual requirements.
• Collaborate with mentors to manage caseload and link participants with housing, health, and other resources.
• Foster a learning environment to develop colleagues' skills and share best practice.
• Safeguard adults and children; raise risk concerns to Probation Service promptly.
• Help ensure all contractual targets are met.
