Job summary

Shaw Trust is seeking a CFO Custody Support Worker to manage a caseload of participants in custody, delivering high-quality support and guidance to enable resettlement and progression toward sustainable employment.

Based at HMP Wayland, the role requires Level 2 English & Maths, DBS and vetting, and collaboration with partner agencies to meet contractual targets while upholding safeguarding and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates understanding of barriers faced by prisoners and prison leavers with complex needs.
• Strong communication, organisational, IT, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, and maintaining high professional standards.
• Experience working with partner agencies.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of participants in custody providing high quality support and guidance to enable engagement and progression towards education, training, employment and reintegration.
• Engage with partner agencies to coordinate services and achieve targets.
• Adhere to contractual requirements and maintain safeguarding and professional standards.
