Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is recruiting Registered Nurses and Paramedics to work within custody suites in partnership with the police. You will provide gold-standard clinical care to detainees, record care and support wellbeing, with training provided for forensic and wider clinical skills.

The roles require HCPC/NMC registration and a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience. Candidates must be UK residents for at least 3 years and hold a driving licence.

Qualifications

• RN/RGN or Paramedic with 2 years post-qualification experience.
• UK resident for 3+ years with no gaps out of the country longer than 3 months.
• HCPC/NMC registration required.

Responsibilities

• Assess detainees who require physical, mental health care and wellbeing support.
• Administer medications when needed and document care in computerised systems.
• Work within custody suites and liaise with local Diversion teams to address root causes.
