Job summary

Mitie Care & Custody is seeking Registered Nurses or Paramedics to join our custody suites across the region. You will assess detainees, administer medications as required, and keep detailed records on our systems.

The role requires flexibility to work across assigned regional custody suites. We value your clinical and forensic skills and offer training, development, and career opportunities within a dynamic police service environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (Adult) with NMC registration.
• Paramedic with 2 years post-qualification experience.
• UK resident for 3 years with no gaps >3 months.

Responsibilities

• Assess detainees to determine fitness for detention or release.
• Administer medications when needed.
• Maintain accurate records on computerised systems.
• Coordinate with Liaison and Diversion teams to address root causes.
