Job summary

Mitie Care & Custody is recruiting Registered Nurses (Adult) and Paramedics to deliver gold-standard care within police custody suites across assigned regions in the UK. Roles require 2 years post-qualification experience and HCPC/NMC registration, with driving licences and police vetting as part of the process.

Roles involve flexible shifts across custody sites and a strong emphasis on clinical, forensic and wider skills development within a market-leading provider in outsourced Police services.

Qualifications

• Must have HCPC or NMC registration.
• Driving Licence required.
• Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in a patient-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Care for detainees in custody suites, providing physical and mental health support.
• Administer medications when needed and document care on computerised systems.
• Assess fitness to be detained or released and coordinate with Liaison and Diversion teams.
• Contribute to a forensic and clinical skill development within a police custody environment.
