Job summary

The Limes College in Wallington is seeking a creative Curriculum Support Assistant - Primary to support KS1/KS2 pupils who have been excluded or are at risk of exclusion.

You will provide administrative and curriculum support to KS1/KS2 teachers at the Lindberg site, work 33 hours per week term-time plus INSET days, and contribute to a caring, supportive learning environment in a small-class setting.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade A-C or equivalent.
• Experience with students with behavioural difficulties and learning needs.
• Excellent communication with staff, students, parents/carers and professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and curriculum support to KS1 and KS2 teachers.
• Work within the primary unit at the Lindberg site in Wallington.

Salary: NJC Grade 4 £30,288 FTE

Actual £23,956 per annum

33 hours per week, term time plus INSET days

We are looking for a creative and engaging Curriculum Support Assistant - Primary to join The Limes College and support vulnerable young people in KS1 and KS2 who have been excluded or at risk of exclusion from mainstream education.

You will provide administrative and curriculum support to the KS1 and KS2 Teachers. This post will involve working within the primary aged unit, based at the Lindberg site in Wallington.

The ideal candidate will have:

English and Maths qualifications GCSE grade A-C or equivalent;

Experience of working with students with behavioural difficulties and learning needs on a one-to-one basis or in small groups;

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to maintain positive working relationships with staff, students, parents/carers and other professionals.
