From inspiring a lifelong love of literature to strengthening literacy and securing excellent outcomes, you will play a key role in ensuring English is a vibrant, successful, and inclusive area of the school.

As our new Curriculum Leader of English, you will:

• Provide strong and inspirational leadership for English, establishing a clear vision and high expectations for teaching, learning, and achievement.
• Lead the development and implementation of an ambitious, engaging, and inclusive English curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.
• Drive high standards of teaching and learning across the subject, modelling excellent classroom practice and supporting colleagues to develop their expertise.
• Foster a culture and love of reading, writing, literature, and language across the school.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress and outcomes, using assessment and data effectively to identify priorities and secure continued improvement.
• Support, develop, and motivate colleagues through effective coaching, collaboration, professional development, and the sharing of best practice.
• Ensure students are challenged and supported to develop their analytical, creative, literacy, and communication skills.
