Qualifications

  • Masters qualification (HE posts only) or willingness to work towards.
  • Possession of assessor and/or verifier awards or willingness to achieve in probationary period.
  • Possession of a formal Management Qualification.
  • Additional qualifications in subject specialism relevant to the Curriculum area.

  • Industrial experience in an appropriate discipline.
  • Experience of teaching a wide range of levels with high student satisfaction and success rates.
  • Effectively tutoring and supporting individuals with high success rates.
  • Coordinating and managing a portfolio of programmes.
  • Develop curriculum based on sector demands and continuous quality improvement.
  • Drive organisational development and change through initiatives.
  • Respond to and meet a range of learning styles.
  • Communicate clearly and in a timely manner to all stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of trends in Further and Higher Education and industry.
  • Lead staff and students to deliver high quality learning experiences.
  • Deliver on targets related to College priorities.
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Engage in digital technologies and Microsoft tools.
