Job summary

Twynham School and The Grange School in Christchurch are seeking an exceptional Curriculum Team Leader for Art, Design Technology and Food Technology. You will lead across two schools, align curriculum, and drive excellent outcomes for students.

The role is permanent, full-time, with a strategic leadership focus, coaching teachers, developing the DT curriculum, and working with partners to raise standards. Flexible cross-school leadership and strong CPD support.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of Art, Design Technology and Food Technology specialists across Twynham TGS.
• Drive excellence in teaching, learning and student outcomes across all key stages.
• Shape and deliver an ambitious, innovative and inclusive curriculum that reflects the needs of all learners.
• Lead curriculum development across both schools, ensuring consistency, coherence and high standards.
• Support and develop colleagues through coaching, professional development and collaborative working.
• Use data, self-evaluation and research-informed practice to secure continuous improvement.
• Champion creativity, innovation and enrichment opportunities within and beyond the classroom.
• Build strong partnerships with feeder primary schools, employers, industry partners and the wider community.
• Contribute to whole-school improvement and play an active role within the wider leadership team.
• Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people in accordance with our Safeguarding and Child Protection policies
