Job summary

Nottingham College is seeking a Curriculum Manager for A‑levels in Science and Maths to lead teaching, curriculum delivery and staff development at the High Pavement Campus. You will work with the Head of Faculty and Assistant Principal to drive high standards and secure excellent outcomes for a diverse student body.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience teaching and leading in an A-level environment (Science and/or Maths).
  • Experience of curriculum and people management.
  • Recognised Level 5 teaching qualification.
  • Strong understanding of teaching, learning and assessment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to use attendance/achievement/retention data to drive improvement.
  • Experience with curriculum development, quality assurance and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work with colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Commitment to Further Education and improving outcomes for young people.

Responsibilities

  • Lead high-quality teaching, learning and assessment.
  • Support development of science and maths within the curriculum.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and improvement.
  • Support and develop teaching staff.
  • Use attendance/achievement/retention data to drive improvement.
