Job summary

The Protocol Group is seeking experienced A-Level Teachers and Lecturers for Nottinghamshire. Opportunities cover temporary and permanent roles in Criminology and Applied Science, delivering high-quality A-Level teaching and supporting learners.

We require a degree in a relevant subject and a teaching qualification, with DBS checks and safeguarding commitment. Competitive hourly pay is GBP23–GBP28 across Nottinghamshire.

Qualifications

  • Degree in a relevant subject area.
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training, or equivalent).
  • Experience teaching A-Level or Further Education learners.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality A-Level teaching within your specialist subject area.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess learning in line with awarding body requirements.
  • Support and motivate students to achieve their academic potential.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain accurate learner records and attendance data.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

  • Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
