Job summary

Salford Royal is inviting applications for a CT Radiographer to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. You will work across multiple CT scanners in Salford, covering Cardiac CT, Colonography and CT Intervention as part of a Core CT team.

You will gain experience imaging patients across specialties such as stroke, major trauma, neurosurgery, general surgery and intestinal failure, with training in virtual colonoscopy and CT interventional imaging, plus Cardiac CT.

Responsibilities

• Work across multiple CT scanners within the Salford footprint and will be involved in all aspects of CT including Cardiac, Colonography and CT Intervention.

• After initial training you will be able to perform virtual colonoscopies and provide imaging for CT interventional procedures; you will also be trained in Cardiac CT.

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, patient focused, progressive CT Radiographer to become part of our team at Salford Royal on Permanent Full Time Basis. Are you a good team player? CT at Salford have 5 CT scanners, 4 GE and 1 Canon, you will work across multiple scanners within the Salford footprint and will be involved in all aspects of CT including Cardiac, Colonography and CT Intervention in addition to the Stroke and Trauma work.

The Greater Manchester Major Trauma Hospital (GMMTH) was opened in Spring 2024 and houses our hyperacute services including stroke and major trauma for the Greater Manchester area. Radiology services include a hybrid theatre, 2 GE Maxima CT scanners, an MR suite, X-ray room and an Ultrasound rooms.

As part of our team you will gain vast experience in imaging patients from a variety of specialties such as stroke, major trauma, neurosurgery, general surgery and Intestinal Failure. After initial training you will able to perform virtual colonoscopies and provide imaging for CT interventional procedures. You will also be trained in Cardiac CT.
