Job summary

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting Band 6 Radiographers to join a busy imaging department with rotation through CT and MRI on a recently expanded site equipped with state‑of‑the‑art scanners and facilities, delivering a wide range of examinations.

The role includes evening, weekend and overnight CT duties with opportunities to increase earnings through overtime, and offers training across CT and MRI, QA projects and supervision of entry level staff.

Qualifications

• BSc in Radiography or equivalent (DCR).
• HCPC Registration is required.
• Post Graduate Certificate Cross Sectional imaging is desirable.
• Proven interest in Cross Sectional Imaging.
• Experience in CT & MRI scanning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interact within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical radiographic duties as delegated by the Area Lead.
• Participation in the out of hours rota.
• Radiographic rotation through CT and MRI.
• Vetting of request forms and discussion with medical team on urgency.
