Job summary

WWL Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking Band 6 Radiographers to join the Cross Sectional Team across multiple sites. The role is 37.5 hours/week with flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, nights and standby, across Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh sites.

Experience in MRI and/or CT with NHS background is essential, along with ongoing CPD. The post involves leadership duties and working within a busy diagnostic imaging service across CT/MRI departments.

Qualifications

• BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or Diploma of the College of Radiographers (Diagnostic).
• Must maintain CPD with current advances in CT/MRI.
• Experience across CT and/or MRI; NHS experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT/MRI scanning to required protocols.
• Interchangeable work between MRI and CT after training.
• Participate in CT night rotation and out-of-hours standby.
