The Stark Group is a fast-growing technology-based business that leads in energy data services across the UK. The role focuses on metering tasks, including complex technical work to meet time, cost and quality targets, while providing support to the Stark Connect team.

You will install, commission, test, and inspect LV and metering equipment, and handle on-site coordination, safety checks, and customer communications. A drive-friendly position with travel may be required.

Qualificações

• Trained and authorised in single- and three-phase meter installation and LVCT metering.
• Hold relevant Comcop authorisations.
• Hold DNO metering authorisations where applicable.
• Experience with Half Hourly, AMR and SMETS metering is advantageous.
• Willing to travel and stay away from home when required.
• IEE wiring regulations knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Install, maintain, remove and replace all types of metering equipment.
• Commission all types of metering equipment.
• Test and verify all LV metering equipment.
• Operate the LV system for associated metering activities in accordance with procedures.
• Undertake complex tests and inspections on installations.
• Undertake remote testing of metering equipment
• Investigate high consumption queries and resolve queries with customers.
• Investigate dangerous occurrences and resolve customer problems.
• Work on non-standard and other Distribution Business’ equipment.
• Carry out work on installations.
• Check and inspect work undertaken by the team for quality and safety standards.
• Organise people and co-ordinate resources and supplies.
• Coach and guide other staff including instructions to colleagues in completing tasks.
• Plan and schedule work and make quotations on site to customers.
• Provide technical explanation to the team and customers.
