Job Title: Family Support Worker

Cheshire East Council is seeking a dedicated Family Support Worker to join their Children and Young People Services team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to supporting young people aged 10-18, helping them remain within their families and reducing the risk of exploitation.

Location: Middlewich, Wilmslow, Holmes Chapel, Congleton, Crewe, Knutsford, Macclesfield, Nantwich, Sandbach, Alsager

Salary: £29,269 - £32,076 per annum

Hours: 37 hours per week, 52.143 weeks per year

Employment Type: Permanent

Closing Date: 21/10/2024

About the Role
  1. Work with young people through 1:1 sessions to reduce the risk of exploitation.
  2. Support families in recognising and reducing risks.
  3. Collaborate with agencies to strengthen family networks for sustainable change.
  4. Capture and utilize the voices and experiences of children and young people to inform service delivery.
Person Specification
  • Must have access to own vehicle.
