Job summary

B2E Consulting Ltd is seeking a senior data modelling consultant to support a leading Wealth and Asset Management client in shaping scalable data models for enterprise platforms, reporting, analytics and data products.

The engagement is remote (UK based) for an initial 2-month period, Inside IR35, starting Nov 2026. You will lead conceptual, logical and physical modelling and translate business needs into robust data structures, working with Data Architects, BAs and Data Engineers.

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering data modelling across complex data platforms within financial services environment.
• Conceptual, logical and physical data modelling experience.
• Strong knowledge of 3NF and dimensional modelling.
• Experience designing Fact, Dimension and Bridge tables.
• Experience with conformed dimensions and surrogate key design.
• Knowledge of data quality and governance principles.
• Strong SQL and data profiling skills.
• Experience working with Data Architects, Business Analysts and Data Engineers.
• Azure data platform experience.
• Databricks experience.
• Financial Services Industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable conceptual, logical and physical data models.
• Design Fact, Dimension and Bridge tables, including conformed dimensions and surrogate keys.
• Develop data warehouse and data mart models.
• Develop metadata management structures and data dictionaries.
• Translate business and technical requirements into structured data models and specifications.
• Collaborate with multiple squads to embed consistent modelling standards and practices, and this results in well-designed solutions.

Do you have experience of providing data modelling expertise, including defining data modelling frameworks and embedding modelling processes, on a complex data improvement project within a financial services environment?

This consulting opportunity is to support our client, a leading Wealth and Asset Management organisation, in developing and maintaining scalable data models that support enterprise data platforms, reporting, analytics and data products.

The project needs a consultant who has:

• strong conceptual, logical and physical data modelling expertise
• experience of 3NF and dimensional modelling
• expertise in data warehouse, data mart, master and reference data modelling
• strong SQL, data profiling and business requirements translation skills.

Key services:

The key services that you will be asked to provide are:
