Job summary

LinsCare is seeking an experienced Children's Social Worker for the Assessment & Intervention Team in the Southwark area. You will undertake Section 17 Child and Family Assessments and Section 47 enquiries, complete statutory visits, and manage a varied caseload in a duty rotas framework.

You will work with children, families and professionals to deliver timely, proportionate, child-focused interventions while adhering to safeguarding and statutory guidance.

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
• Strong experience in childrene9s assessment, safeguarding and child protection.
• Confident conducting Section 17 assessments and Section 47 enquiries.

Social Worker - Assessment & Intervention Team

Location: Southwark, Surrey

Rate: £37.52 per hour Umbrella

Contract: Locum / Agency

We are seeking an experienced Children's Social Worker to join an Assessment & Intervention Team in Southwark.

You will undertake Section 17 Child and Family Assessments and Section 47 enquiries, complete statutory visits, manage a varied caseload and participate in the duty rota. You will work collaboratively with children, families, professionals and partner agencies to deliver timely, proportionate and child-focused interventions.

About You

• Qualified and Social Work England registered.
• Strong experience in children's assessment, safeguarding and child protection.
• Confident undertaking Section 17 assessments and Section 47 enquiries.
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and statutory guidance.
• Excellent assessment, analytical, communication and report-writing skills.
• Able to manage risk and complex cases effectively.
• Committed to relationship-based, strengths-based and child-centred practice.

Mandatory: Must have a UK Passport or a Full Right to Work in the UK
