Job summary

The Magdalene Group is seeking a Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) Practitioner to support children and young people across Norfolk affected by CSE. The role requires empathy, resilience and a strong safeguarding mindset, with a 37.5-hour work week and travel across the county.

You will deliver targeted interventions, run group and 1:1 therapeutic activities, and help young people recognise healthy relationships while ensuring they feel heard, understood and supported.

Are you wanting to develop your safeguarding skills?

We are looking for someone to join our young people’s service to support children and young people throughout Norfolk who have been identified or affected by child sexual exploitation (CSE).

This will involve:

• Delivery of targeted intervention and prevention programmes
• Supporting young people to recognise and maintain healthy relationships through 1:1 and group therapeutic work ensuring they feel heard, understood and supported.
• Having a willingness to learn, good communication, active listening, resilience and empathy.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and acting as a point of contact when required.

Salary range: £27,500 - £28,500 per annum, full-time equivalent.

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week. This will involve travel across Norfolk.
