Job summary

Thorn Baker Recruitment seeks a reliable Labourer for a construction site in South Shields. You will clear the site, remove waste, and keep everything clean and safe throughout the shift. Immediate start available.

Applicants should have a valid CSCS card where required, be physically fit, reliable, and able to work well as part of a team with a positive attitude. 4-day commitment required.

Responsibilities

• Clearing a construction site after building works.
• Removing waste and unwanted materials from site.
• Filling skips with construction waste.
• Moving materials and debris safely.
• Keeping the site clean, tidy and organised.
• Maintaining good housekeeping standards.
• Following site health and safety procedures.
• Wearing the correct PPE at all times.
• Carrying out any additional duties requested by the Site Manager.

JOB DETAILS

Position: Labourer

Start Date: ASAP

Working Hours: 7:30am – 5:00pm

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Clearing a construction site following building works
• Removing waste and unwanted materials from site
• Filling skips with construction waste
• Moving materials and debris safely
• Keeping the site clean, tidy and organised
• Maintaining good housekeeping standards
• Following site health and safety procedures
• Wearing the correct PPE at all times
• Carrying out any additional duties requested by the Site Manager

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid CSCS card, where required by the site
• Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual work
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Positive attitude and able to work as part of a team
• Available to start ASAP and commit to the full 4 days
