Job summary

Linear Recruitment Ltd. is seeking an experienced CSA Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial management on major construction projects in the UK.

You will manage costs, valuations, procurement, and final accounts, working closely with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to deliver on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have Tier One contractor experience, strong contractual knowledge and proven ability to manage multiple priorities across large-scale schemes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor working with a Tier One contractor on large scale, high value schemes.
• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge.
• Experience managing subcontractors and supply chains.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
• Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline.
• Experience with major construction projects would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Managing project costs, budgets and forecasts.
• Preparing and reviewing valuations, variations and payment applications.
• Managing subcontractor procurement and accounts.
• Monitoring project financial performance and reporting on commercial progress.
• Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities.
• Reviewing contracts and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
• Supporting tendering, estimating and procurement activities.
• Leading final accounts and commercial close-out.
• Working collaboratively with the wider project and delivery teams.
