Job summary

Arcadis is recruiting a CSA Project Manager – Enabling Works to oversee Phase B/C enabling works on a major data centre campus programme in Northumberland. You will coordinate earthworks, remediation, site logistics, planning interfaces, and environmental compliance, acting as client-side oversight and interface manager.

Ideally you have experience in large-scale infrastructure delivery, strong programme management, and the ability to challenge non-compliance while coordinating multiple

Qualifications

• Experience in enabling works, earthworks, external works or large-scale CSA infrastructure delivery.
• Strong knowledge of programme management, permits, planning conditions, contractor coordination, and interface management.
• Ability to monitor and challenge contractor delivery without owning means and methods.

Responsibilities

• Complete Phase A enabling works handover and coordinate with GC mobilisation for Phase B.
• Manage Phase B Enabling Works for DC03/DC04 through Feb 2027, including piling interfaces.
• Manage Phase C Enabling Works through Dec 2027, interfacing with DC01/DC02 construction.
• Coordinate planning condition discharge and ongoing permitting requirements.
• Interface with substation construction, power delivery, and adjacent works.
• Monitor contractor performance, programme, quality, environmental compliance, and permitting obligations.
• Manage progress, risk, change control, and reporting across enabling works scope.
• Coordinate with design consultants on CSA design, RFIs, and change management.
