Job summary

Quantum Design Oxford is seeking an experienced Mechanical Manufacturing Technician to build and test cryogenic instrumentation to strict quality standards. Qualifications

• Apprentice-trained Mechanical Manufacturing Technician or time-served with demonstrable experience.
• Experience in complex assembly work within a low-volume engineering environment.
• Adaptable and flexible, with an eagerness to learn and try varied tasks.

Responsibilities

• Build and test cryogenic instrumentation to quality standards and timeframes.
• Follow engineering drawings and SOPs in manufacturing processes.
• Work with a hands-on Value Stream Team Leader in a collaborative team.
• 37-hour week with a reduced five-hour day on Friday.
