Job summary

Air Products in Worcester is seeking a proactive Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to lead our on-site workshop operations. You will supervise technicians, plan servicing, inspections, diagnostics, and defect repairs for ADR vehicles and trailers, ensuring roadworthy compliance and safety.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified HGV technician with ADR experience, strong DVSA knowledge, and a track record of leading teams while upholding high safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with cryogenic systems and ADR fleets.
• Qualified HGV technician with relevant certifications.
• Proven supervisory or team-lead experience in a workshop.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day workshop operations, ensuring safe maintenance and repairs.
• Mentor and develop workshop technicians.
• Plan servicing, inspections, diagnostics and defect repairs for ADR vehicles and trailers.
• Ensure DVSA, ADR, PUWER, LOLER compliance and company standards.
• Carry out quality checks to ensure roadworthiness and legal compliance.
• Lead job scheduling to minimise downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and inspection records.
• Liaise with transport teams, drivers, and suppliers.
• Manage parts, stock levels and consumables.
• Promote safety through audits and toolbox talks.
• Lead in-house BSP activities and act as Permit to Work issuer.
