Job summary

SPT Labtech in the United Kingdom is seeking a Process Technician for a 9-month fixed-term contract at our Melbourn headquarters in Cambridgeshire. You will prepare and mix liquid reagents, assemble and handle very small components, and perform quality checks to ensure consumables meet specification before reaching customers.

Training is provided; prior laboratory experience is welcome but not essential. This full-time, site-based role runs Monday to Friday with occasional flexibility to meet

Qualifications

• No prior laboratory experience required; training provided.
• Ability to follow SOPs exactly and maintain records.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Willingness to work standard hours Mon-Fri, with occasional flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and mix liquid reagents.
• Assemble and handle very small components.
• Carry out quality control checks on consumables to ensure specifications are met.
