Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL in Croydon is seeking a proactive Maintenance Technician/Handyman to join a residential building. You will handle maintenance and repair requests across the accommodation, delivering a high standard of living experience.

This hands-on role requires practical skills in trades, the ability to work independently, and a proactive approach to safety and compliance. The position offers £16.50 per hour plus holiday pay and tools are provided.

Qualifications

• Proven maintenance/handyman/trade experience.
• Strong practical skills across general maintenance disciplines.
• Able to work independently and manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests via internal systems.
• Carry out general repairs (plumbing, decorating, joinery).
• Support reactive and planned maintenance (PPM).
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms and communal areas.
• Identify and address maintenance issues and health & safety risks.
• Maintain logs, inspections, and compliance records.
• Deliver a professional and approachable service across teams.
