Job summary

Ralph Allen School is seeking an ambitious Community Partnerships Manager to lead the development of a cross-sector coalition across Bath and North East Somerset. The role focuses on improving outcomes for disadvantaged children and young people by forging partnerships, coordinating resources and driving investment.

You will build relationships across schools, charities, local government, businesses and public services, translating ideas into collaborative action and measurable impact.

Qualifications

• Experience building productive relationships across multiple organisations and sectors.
• Track record of influencing and driving progress without direct line management responsibility.
• Experience securing funding and managing relationships with funders.
• Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong judgement, diplomacy and emotional intelligence.
• Commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people experiencing disadvantage.
• Ability to think strategically while maintaining practical delivery focus.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a cross-sector coalition focused on reducing disadvantage.
• Act as the Trust's principal link with Bath and North East Somerset Council.
• Develop strong relationships with schools, community organisations, charities, businesses and public sector partners.
• Manage transparent seed-funding processes and support the allocation of investment.
• Develop new funding opportunities through trusts, foundations, corporate partnerships and grant programmes.
• Coordinate collaborative projects and monitor progress against agreed outcomes.
• Provide robust reporting, governance and accountability arrangements.
