Airbus Defence and Space UK offers an undergraduate placement within the Cross Program Organisation for telecoms. You will support live projects and bid activity, and work with internal suppliers to deliver equipment into our AIT facility.
The role requires currently enrolled undergraduates in Engineering, Business Management, Procurement and Supply Chain Management, or Project Management. You will develop stakeholder management and time-management skills while learning new procurement processes

This role sits within the Cross Program Organisation for telecoms.
We cover a wide range of topics that touch multiple projects within Telecoms business unit including the following;
Within this role you will get exposure to all ongoing and future telecoms programs, you will be supporting live projects and on-going bid activity.
You will get to work with our key internal suppliers and support the delivery of equipment into our AIT facility.
You will get the opportunity to work with a wide range of stakeholders across the business and gain a working knowledge of supply chain and procurement processes and procedures. Within both the Payload and Mechanical Platform scope.
You will support improvement initiatives across a range of topics, from competitivity to streamlining of processes.
You will be working with team members in Portsmouth, Stevenage, and Toulouse.
Our placements are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:
This Job Request will be allocated to the projected Joint-Venture scope towards a leading European player in space.
You will be subject to a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. You may also need to gain UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role.
