Job summary

Lodestar Academy in Torbay is seeking a Cross-Curricular Teacher to deliver an ambitious and adaptive curriculum for students aged 11–18, including those with social, emotional and behavioural needs. You will teach across multiple subjects, act as a form tutor, and build strong relationships with students and families to improve attendance and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people.
• Experience working in Alternative Provision, SEND, SEMH or mainstream education.
• Interested in moving into Alternative Provision and believe you have the values and mindset to succeed.
• Understand that behaviour is often a form of communication.
