Job summary

Balaena is seeking a Sales Operations Coordinator to support New Business Sales and Account Management. The role focuses on maintaining CRM accuracy, gathering updates, and driving pipeline visibility, while providing administrative support to a busy sales team.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, proactive and comfortable communicating with stakeholders at all levels. Flexible/part-time working options are available, with potential office space in Delabole or Falmouth.

Qualifications

• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
• Comfortable picking up the phone daily to gather updates and keep information flowing.
• Confident speaking with people at all levels of the business.
• Proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong administration and coordination skills.
• Good Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of CRM accuracy, data quality and user compliance across the sales function.
• Proactively contact Sales Directors and teams to obtain updates on opportunities and pipeline progression.
• Update daily and maintain CRM records to ensure information is current and complete.
• Follow up on missing information and overdue updates to drive CRM discipline.
• Produce regular pipeline, activity and sales reports for management teams.
• Coordinate travel, accommodation and meeting arrangements for the sales team.
• Assist with customer onboarding and account administration activities.
• Schedule customer meetings and manage follow-up actions.
• Support organisation of trade shows, exhibitions, customer visits and sales events.
• Provide general administrative support to the wider sales function.
